Facial cleansing or peeling?

Many people think these procedures are the same.

In reality, they are quite different. Hygienic facial cleansing and chemical peeling are two distinct treatments!

Yes, both methods help improve skin clarity and are leading solutions for fighting acne. But there are fundamental differences between them!

🧴 Hygienic Facial Cleansing

• Deeply cleanses pores and skin from sebum, impurities, and dead skin cells that accumulate in the pores and on the surface
• Removes comedones and inflamed elements
• Exfoliates the outer layer of skin cells and boosts microcirculation

🧪 Chemical Peeling

• Regulates oil production
• Tightens pores
• Removes dead skin cells and combats hyperkeratosis
• Provides anti-inflammatory effects, reducing active inflammation and preventing further breakouts
• Draws out underlying inflammation
• Stimulates skin regeneration and renewal, resulting in rejuvenation
• Improves skin firmness and tone
• Evens out skin tone, lightens pigmentation and post-inflammatory marks

❗️The key difference is that peeling does not involve any mechanical impact on the skin!
Therefore, peeling will not remove blackheads, acne, or inflamed elements. However, it will help reduce and calm inflammation!

To remove blackheads and other impurities, only mechanical facial cleansing is effective☝

That’s why, in my practice, I often combine these two procedures or alternate them depending on the patient’s skin condition.

To determine exactly what you need—what procedure, which peeling, how often, and how many sessions are required for your specific acne type or to improve your skin quality—only a professional cosmetologist can decide, and only during an in-person consultation!
Not from photos or messages online.

The main thing is: no self-treatment, follow the recommended procedures regularly, and always adhere to your specialist’s advice!
