Hello everyone! With this video, I’m starting a series of helpful videos where I’ll answer your most popular questions.
Today’s topic is the COMPATIBILITY of PERMANENT LIP MAKEUP and LIP CONTOURING.
If you’re planning to have both procedures, I recommend starting with permanent makeup. Have the main procedure and a touch-up about a month later.
Your specialist will perfect the shape and symmetry, and you might find that lip contouring isn’t even necessary! This happens quite often.
If you still want more volume, it’s much easier for your cosmetologist to work with lips that already have a balanced shape. By the way, you can have lip contouring done once the last scab from the permanent makeup has healed.
If you’ve already had fillers and want to enhance the color or vibrancy of your lips, feel free to come in for permanent makeup. These two procedures are fully compatible and even complement each other!
It’s important to wait until all swelling from the contouring has completely subsided.
