Hello, friends!
Have you noticed the small “No Photoshop” label on the photos of my work?
In this post, I’d like to share a bit about what it means.

Today, the permanent makeup industry is incredibly popular. New artists are popping up everywhere, and Instagram is full of stunning, tempting photos.
The right angle, macro shots, lighting, color, and so on—all great tools for showcasing work. But sometimes, in the pursuit of the perfect image, artists don’t hesitate to use photo editors to hide imperfections, making the before and after photos look like completely different people.

I’ve often heard from Instagram experts that my page isn’t “on trend.”
Collages are out of fashion, all photos should have a unified style and color palette, and some even recommend using the same presets for a more attractive feed that sells your work better.

But the “No Photoshop” label on my photos means I never edit them (except maybe to cover up a pimple). This is a matter of principle for me. It’s about my honor and reputation as a specialist—patients have been coming back to me for 9 years. I always try to show you my work as honestly as possible. If it’s brows, you’ll see both in the photo, shot straight on so you can see how they look on the face. Lips are shown evenly, so you see the real result, and I always share plenty of healed results, because that’s what truly shows the outcome.

Tell me, friends, is it important to you whether photos are edited or not? Maybe I’m overthinking this detail?
