Do you need to prepare for injection procedures, or do you think the results depend solely on the cosmetologist’s expertise?
⠀
In fact, there are general recommendations that can help minimize recovery time and improve the effectiveness of injection procedures.
⠀
Here are the main ones:
✅ It is not recommended to undergo injection procedures during menstruation, as hormonal changes can lower your pain threshold, making the procedure more uncomfortable. There is also a higher risk of bruising and hematomas during this period. It’s best to schedule any injection procedures after your cycle ends.
⠀
✅ One to two weeks before your procedure, stop taking blood-thinning medications and anticoagulants such as aspirin, cardiomagnyl, phlebodia, detralex, omega-3, etc.
⠀
✅ The day before your procedure, avoid alcohol to reduce the risk of bruising, hematomas, and swelling.
⠀
✅ Two weeks before neuroprotein correction (Botox), discontinue B vitamins.
⠀
✅ Taking antibiotics immediately before or during neuroprotein correction may neutralize the effect of the product, or, conversely, some antibiotics can cause hypercorrection, leading to unwanted complications.
⠀
✅ One to one and a half months before planned neuroprotein correction (Botox), you may take zinc supplements. This can help prolong the results of the procedure.
